MOLLUSCM CONTAGIOSUM

after some funk has developed - due to a RAPE - i have red sores all in my pubic hair that have begun to spread to my "lips" & upper inner thighs. one doc said it was perhaps HPV, aother perhaps herpes...i am oveseas so it is hard to find a good doc. i just went to the equilvalent, i guess, of a planned parenthood clinic i.e. all free, all about sex, aids, babymaking, & stds. the lady took one good look with a mag glass & good light & said it was molluscm (MCV). i am to treat it with a cleaner & cream & in one week shave it all off (god is it gonna hurt - i used to keep it well waxed down there - but after these creatures i ain't about to put a razor near them, but apparently i have to), so yeah, shave my pubes & then go to have all the bumps (there are a lot) popped or something like that. anyone have a similar exp or know anything please!!!! IN PAIN

You let a doctor diagnose you on site
alone? no culture of the area, blood
test, or biopsy? I hope you can locate
another doctor. Why on earth would you
shave that area in a week? Even if it
is molluscum you can spread that by
shaving.

Molluscum does not cause sores.

first, i hope you did the right thing
after getting raped and reported it and
also went to a hospital for a rape
kit. they test you for std's they take
a sample of semen for prosecution and
stuff like that. for 2, sounds like
the dr over there is on crack! you
cant diagnose ANYTHING with only visual
diagnosis, and no dr in their right
mind would tell ANYONE w/sores and
bumps to shave over them and pop them.
shoot, you arent even supposed to pop
pimples!

cont from above, you REALLY need to go
to a good doctor, preferably a
gynecologist and have a full exam, if
ones not available, go to the hospital,
but please, see someone else besides
that crappy doctor!
