Has anyone with HPV, who hasn't had GW ever experience severe discomfort such as itching & burning in the genital area. It's driving me crazy. What can I do to stop it? I've never had warts, just this discomfort. Could this be a High risk HPV?

With my personal experience I never did have the itching and burning, but i do know that it is common with hpv. the best thing that I would suggest is to go see yur doc! they should be able to give you something for it and if you are like me and don't have innsurance then find a planned parrenthood that is close to you and they can help!

it could be a yeast infection. i always thought there had to be (dont mind me being graphic haha) thick chunky cottage cheese dischage in order for it to be one, but i was wrong because when i got one, my crotch was itching and on fire and all red! i would suggest seeing your gyno too, they can give you diflucan if it is a yeast infection and that stops it right away!

the strains that cause genital warts are not high risk strains...however it is possible that you could have more than one strain and in that case you should be checked because you could have a cancerous strain but the ones, 6 and 11, that cause warts are not cancerous

How can I get checked? I didn't think there was a test for men?
