After so much time it makes more sense that your new partner gave you a new HPV infection.

Yup, your new partner is the culpret. Dont fret because their are so many strains of this rolling around out there. This is totally manageable and it sounds you have done just fine for the last 13 years... Get this treated and you have another 43 years ahead of you or even more! Good luck

John
WHAT came back. People with warts don't say they have an infection. Warts are warts. Is it warts or something else?
Did you get warts 13 yearso ago? Did you have them treated? Be more specific!

There is really no way to tell unless you had a biopsy done and knew what strain it was when you had the virus previously. In my opinion your new husband is probably a carrier, but at least you've been through it before, you know what to expect.

I have always been told that if you have HPV, you will always have it. It may lay dormant for a while and that may explain why you have had some negative pap smears in the past. Also, it has alot to do with your immune system. I would not go as far to say that your new partner is a carrier because you will always have the HPV virus.

I would also like to know how the treatment with Betamanon is going?

Betamanon is garbage. But, yeah, most defintely the new guy gave it to you. Studies suggest that your body is more efficiant at ridding new strains of HPV once it had to clear an old one. You'll be fine on your own. Don't waste $ on that placebo stuff.

It is true that there is no cure for HPV ,but my doctor said that women who are under 30 and non smokers have very good chance to clear up /after they have LEEP done 8 - 12 months/.It all depends on condition of your immune system and life style. You shouldn`t be that much worried. Most people/ live with it and they even do not know/80% of sexually active/
