Question:

After having cervical dysplasia removed can you still pass on HPVIf you have the type of HPV that causes dysplasia and have unprotected sex. What kind of problems would a male have??

NOOOOOO ... once you undergo the treatment to remove the cervical dysplasia, it is extremely unlikely you will pass it on to your partner. After you undergo the treatment, you should see (about 4-6months later) a normal pap. At this point spresing the virus is highly unlikely. If a man was to get HPV, chances are it came from an untreated individual who is unaware that the have it.

If you are diagnosed by your physitian as HPV carrier, you will always be able to pass it on to someone else. ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN INFECTED, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A CARRIER AND PASS IT ON TO SOMEONE ELSE.
Please have frequent paps. If you happen to have dysplasia again and leave it untreated, it will become cancer!!!
