Question:

I read an article in Cosmopoltian, stating that women with HPV, who take birth control pills, are three times more likely to develope cervical cancer. Is that true?

I have read that also and I''ve read that pills reduce your likelyhood of getting cancer. I was told that neither has been proven. But ask yourself are pregnant woman (same hormones put into the pill) more susceptible to cervical cancer? Nope!

They do say that you are more susceptible to outbreaks during pregnancy, but it is not the hormones...it''s the strain on your immune system.
