I just fount this statement from a website giving safe sex advice ..Researchers have recently discovered a possible vaccine against HPV subtype 16 (the strain of "genital warts" , but their vaccine is not available to the general public yet. i s this a true fact?

not yet. Merck and Stressgen(Roche), phamaceutical companies are both woking on vaccines at different stages of testing. the most promising sounding is Stressgen''s hspE7 vacinne which is currently undergoing phase II trials and is looking very successful both as preventitive and theraputic vaccine. unfortunetly it is still several years (3-6) before it will hit the market
