Question:

If a woman infected with HPV shows cervical dysplasia as a symptom, it it possible to develop genital warts also? Can her male parter develop genital warts if her only symptom was dysplasia?

When a person has the high risk strains of HPV those strains cause dysplasia. Researchers say that the high risks strains of HPV do not cause genital warts. So if the person with HPV only has high risk strains warts will not appear. But in most cases, women with the high risk strains of HPV are also carriers of the low risk strains which cause genital warts. Not in every case but in most.
