Question:

I am 3 months pregnant and just found out that I had genital warts. What are the risk to me and my baby?

Rarely the warts increase in size during pregnancy because of the extra Genital Warts in the region... but most of the time you shouldn''t have any probs. Just have your doc keep an eye on it. The only prob you might have is if they increase in size.. they could block the birth canal... rarely you can pass warts on to your child during a vaginal delivery. Rare... but it happens. Talk to your doctor. HPV is very common and rarely affects pregnancy unless not treated.

as far as I know you cant get treatment until after u have the baby. if u r breastfeeding after the baby is born then u cant receive treatment until u r not breastfeeding anymore. it could have adverse side affects on the baby to do sumthing while u r pregnant or nursing
