My roomate was recently diganosed with genital warts. If I let her borrow some hydrocortizone cream and then used it on myself, is it possible that I can come in to contact with the warts?

Well agreed! Stay away from the hydrocortisone...I made that mistake myself. My doctor confirmed that that really stimulates the virus. Was using Aldara too, but hydrocortisone between treatments and it just kept getting worse. Go to the doctor for sure!

cortizone creams are like putting fertilizer on the warts. they grow a lot faster. go see a dermatologist or urologist
